Neema Muinde

Neema is a dedicated global health and development professional passionate about advancing health equity and building resilient communities. Her interests span public health, gender equality, mental health, climate resilience, food and nutrition security, social justice, and the social determinants of health.She holds a strong academic background in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, complemented by a diploma in Technical Education. Neema has worked alongside NGOs, government agencies, and institutions.I have led and supported multiple initiatives focused on maternal, adolescent, and child health (RMNCAH), community health systems strengthening, policy advocacy, and youth engagement. Neema is highly skilled in advocacy, program design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based policy analysis.A passionate educator, and journal reviewer Neema actively engages in teaching and capacity-building, mentoring vulnerable populatiions health workers in clinical nutrition, public health, and community development. Her work in the classroom and in the field reflects her belief in the power of knowledge to transform health systems and lives.Neema often speaks on issues affecting youth, women, men, and marginalized populations particularly around rights-based health approaches, mental wellness, and sustainable development.
