The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is the main tax administrator to the Government. IRAS collects taxes that account for about 70% of the Government's Operating Revenue that supports the Government's economic and social programmes to achieve quality growth and an inclusive society. IRAS also represents the Government in tax treaty negotiations, drafts tax legislations and provides advice on property valuation to the Government. My roles and responsibilities: Analyse and research on taxpayer’s cases Draft letters for approval and for submission Admin work (filing, photocopy, printing, etc)

* The Education and Publicity Department's (EPD) main task is to make parliamentary education interesting, exciting and accessible to students and members of the public. The Department develops and conducts programmes and educational tours for students and the public with the aim of deepening their understanding of parliamentary democracy, and the roles and functions of the Singapore Parliament. The Department also produces publicity and resource materials on Parliament to complement these education programmes. * My roles and responsibilities as an EPD intern: * Conduct in-house tours of the Parliament House * Content creator and designing of in-house newsletter * Design posters and signage (eg. prohibited items, directions) * Search for vendors and sending emails for quotations * Research for places of interest/educational tours/team-bonding sessions * Admin work (filing, photocopy, printing, etc) * Housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of the Parliament Visitor Centre for public * viewing
