Nick K. Bhasin

Nick serves as the Director of Acquisitions at PIA Residential, specializing in the acquisition of market-rate multifamily assets in the Southeast U.S., specifically targeting properties with 200-400 units. Based in New York, NY, his responsibilities encompass investment analysis, financial modeling, and the execution of strategic acquisition plans. Prior to joining PIA Residential, Bhasin was a Director of Investments & Strategy at Lincoln Avenue Capital, concentrating on multifamily real estate opportunities. His extensive experience in real estate investment also includes roles as a Senior Associate at CrossHarbor Capital Partners, focusing on a diverse range of U.S. real estate transactions, and as an Associate at The Carlyle Group, where he honed his expertise in multifamily, student housing, retail, and other sectors. Earlier in his career, he contributed to the JLL Hotel Investment Banking team and the Starwood Real Estate Acquisitions team. In addition to his professional endeavors, he is a Head Mentor with Wall Street Oasis (WSO), dedicating his time to mentoring students aspiring to enter the field of real estate private equity. His academic background includes a M.S. in Real Estate and a B.A. in Economics from New York University, reflecting his deep-rooted interest in real estate and financial markets. He is actively involved in his local university alumni chapters, further demonstrating his commitment to the industry and education. Nick received both a M.S. in real estate and a B.A. in economics from New York University.
