As a footwear designer, I have worked on different footwear types, flats and sneakers, boots, high heels, and premium quality. I work closely with the product development team. - Trend, material and component research for the target customer and product category. - Working with ideation and sketching, both on the construction, outsole development and upper design. - Creation and maintenance of tech sheets. - Working closely with color and materials development and selection for each style. - Close communication with the production offices. - Examine samples in the fitting session and comment on shape, color, material and component to achieve best product and quality. - Creating and maintenance of overviews. - Presenting and discussing the products planed for each quarter in the product meetings.

As an Assistant footwear designer intern I work closely with the concept designer in developing the vision for the season as well as assisting the footwear design team. - trend research and building customer boards. - Assisting in the development of the seasonal colors, and creating the color boards. - Assisting in the material and component development for footwear. - Designing new outsoles specifically for sneakers. - Designing uppers both for flats and sneakers.

As a freelance fashion accessories designer, my focus area is on leather goods, jewelry design and hardware developing. I have worked with various clients in fashion industry as well as independent inhouse projects. As an intern for one of the most prestigious fashion and leather goods companies based in Iran, I work on two bags and two Jewelry pieces as part of a bigger collection with Dorsa's design team. - Assisting in creating initial concepts and mood and colour concepts for the project. - Sketching and ideation and working closely with the Product designer. - Physical Prototyping. - 3D modeling and digital rendering. - Provide technical drawings for suppliers and finalize designs for production. - Travel to the production office and Dorsa group factory. - Review shapes throughout the design process.

Fashion and collection design education where my focus was footwear design. I completed an extensive color and material design project for Converse footwear under the close supervision of their team and my project got the chance to be presented in Converse's innovation lab. For my master project I worked on a footwear collection with a focus of material design and utilising 3d designing and printing for the construction and component development.

Industrial design education where my focus was on fashion accessories design. I worked on leather goods, bags and shoes, metal hardware and jewelry design. I did a minor in silversmithing and jewelry making. Also focused on leather goods in one of my internships during my BA studies.
