Naylanie Alomar

Collaborate in weekly committee meetings to plan and execute semester-long programming and events. Coordinate event logistics, including creating Amazon supply lists, submitting production and marketing requests, and completing funding proposals. Manage outreach efforts by communicating with ambassadors and external companies for partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. Support event execution by fulfilling delegated roles during pop-ups and large-scale events, including overseeing activities and distributing materials to attendees.

As a dedicated member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated, I actively contribute to building a strong, inclusive sisterhood while gaining hands-on experience in leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.

I serve as the bridge between current members and alumni, fostering lasting connections and strengthening our chapter’s network. I coordinate alumni communications, organize events, and ensure our alumni remain engaged with chapter initiatives. Through this role, I’ve developed experience in creating monthly newsletters on Canva, community outreach, event planning, relationship management, and strategic communication all while upholding the values and traditions of our sisterhood.

I represent my chapter within the broader MGC community, advocating for our members while fostering collaboration across multicultural organizations. In this role, I engage in council meetings, share chapter initiatives, and help strengthen inter-organizational relationships. My work has given me experience in advocacy, cross-cultural collaboration, leadership, and organizational communication, while supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Greek community.
