Navindra Seeram

I am an internationally recognized scientist and academic leader specializing in natural products chemistry, nutraceutical science, and translational biomedical research. My work, which has been published in over 200 peer reviewed papers and is highly cited (Google h index = 85), focuses on identifying and evaluating bioactive compounds from natural sources and translating scientific discoveries into applications in human health and disease prevention. I have served in senior academic leadership roles including Dean, Professor, and Department Chair, where I led interdisciplinary research initiatives, academic program development, and strategic collaborations with industry and government partners. I have also consulted for various food/nutraceuticals/ natural products, life sciences, and biotech companies. My research has contributed to advancing understanding of polyphenols, dietary bioactives, and other natural compounds with potential applications in metabolic health, aging, and chronic disease prevention. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and have been invited internationally to present on nutraceutical science and natural products research.
