Lab Supervisor: Develop, optimize, maintain new analytical methods for environmental and pharmaceutical applications. To obtain and maintain accreditation from certifying bodies like NVLAP, AIHA, MDE, NELAC and FDA for providing service & business development. To prepare, maintain quality documents and follow good laboratory practices as per NVLAP, AIHA, MDE, NELAC and FDA. Hiring, training and certifying new employees as needed. Procurement of instruments and new technologies for keeping up with the fast faced work environment. Provide logistics to team and meet the quarterly/yearly requirements, as per the need. Quality Manager: Preparation of NTEL's QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions. Control and distribution of all NTEL's quality documentation. Monitor all quality related activities on projects. Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the NTEL's management. Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders. Attend client quality management meetings. Preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement. Review quality inspection, personnel qualifications and training requirements. Monitor disposition of all issued nonconformance reports. Monitor progress and effectiveness of projects quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required. Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the employee/customers representatives. Monitor statistical/Control charts and method of reporting. Investigate/troubleshoot and close all customer complaints. Control all achieved documentation upon the completion of projects. Participates in external audits and address any non-conformances with proper corrective action reports. Supplier audits and supplier technical evaluation. Generate corrective and preventive actions.

-Developed nanoparticle based ferrofluids funded by DARPA Vesperix. -Designed and studied synthesis strategies for anhydrous inorganic nanoparticle synthesis of Co, Fe and FeCo nanoparticles. -Developed novel ferrofluid formulation strategies utilizing inorganic nanoparticles like Co, Fe and FeCo. -Design of experiments for large scale synthesis and formulation of Fe, Co and FeCo nanoparticle based ferrofluids. -Characterization and understanding the magnetic flux related spiky behavior of ferrofluids. -Trained graduate and undergraduate students in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization.

-Worked on concentrated solar power project funded by US-DOE. -Design and develop new protocols and methods that are associated with metal-ceramic composites heat exchangers. -Design and develop new approaches to functionalize micron-sized ceramic particles. -Design and develop ways to apply anti-corrosive coatings onto metal-ceramic composites.

Interest - To develop next-generation, low-cost diagnostic platform that can quickly and easily analyze a variety of chemical substances.

Research experience -Expertise in Nanoparticle chemistry, plasma etching and chemical etching. -Extensive experience with Raman and Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). -Designed and developed a novel method for generation of nanoporous membranes. -Nanoparticle fabrication onto thin films and characterization. -Conceptualization, design and development of magnetically guided drug delivery system. -Designed and developed flow experiments to study the collection of magnetic drug carriers. -Developed methods for studying protein corona on nanoparticles. -Synthetic organic chemistry, peptide synthesis, anhydrous coupling reactions & multistep synthesis.
