Worked in two classroom assisting in teaching various skills.

Assisting those with employment challenges in finding community jobs they are interested in. I connect local businesses with workers and establish relationships within the community. At Pearl Buck Center we care about retention and the needs of the employers and job seekers. I provide coaching on the job and in professionalism.

Recon Scout in the Oregon Army National Guard. In the military, you are tasked with too many roles to be effectively written about. The most important skills you develop, however, are that of teamwork and leadership. A soldier is a fast learner, capable of accomplishing new tasks effectively. Soldiers work all hours and all shifts as the role of a soldier isn't a job but a lifestyle. Your a soldier 100% of the time.

I utilized all my elective credits to further specialize in psychology. My primary interest was that of social psychology and cognition. The way people interact in society and the way we learn. Group dynamics, leadership roles, and teaching were primary area's I focused my papers and presentations in.

Associates of Oregon Transfer and Associates of General Studies. The best coursework I had the privilege to partake in was that of Moral Ethics and Critical Thinking taught by Caroline Lundquist, PhD. President Obama even mentioned after his terms in office that his greatest desire for the American people was that they would become better critical thinkers.
