I am currently a Quality Control Supervisor for Merck Sigma Aldrich for a site Manufacturing oligonucleotides. I manage a team onsite that performs over 1.4 million individual sample check per year. I have 8+ year experience installing, validating, running and maintaining LC-MS, MALDI ToF and UPLC systems as part and now the head of the QC team. I qualified from Brighton University in 2009 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences BSc (hons). My degree covered a range of varied scientific and mathematical modules, all of the essential criteria to fulfill the accredited honors degree. I am keen to progress further into my career. I am enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and learning new skill sets to add to those I already have gained from education as well as my previous and current work positions. I feel I am a pleasant person to work with, winning the funniest student in the school award from my peers at university. I have a strong work ethic and am always willing to progress as well as looking for improvement to my own and the company’s performance.
