Was a member of the User Support Team within the Technology Department providing customer service to school users of instructional and administrative technology. Was responsible for preventative maintenance on classroom AV equipment and repairing faults within classroom AV equipment. Was responsible for the imagining of new and old computer equipment in the building. Was responsible for inventory setup and tracking of new equipment for the new building.

Summer Job when no teaching: Responsible for the creation and implementation of machining process drawings, design of tooling, unification of company drafting standards, product quality studies and quality control inspection. Communicated with engineers from Cummins Diesel, Ford, GM, and Bosch about design concerns and production issues. Resolved production issues and prevented unsatisfactory parts from reaching the customer.

Instructed Mechanical Drafting I & II, Architectural I & II, Visual Communications (Graphics), Photography I, Tech Math, Intro to Tech, and Woods I to approximately 100 students in grades 9-12. Within two weeks of starting, changed the attitude and mentality of the students in each of the programs and changed the direction of three faulting programs. Instituted new programs Architectural II: Light Commercial Design, Architectural III: Model Design, and co-founded the “Snow Dogs” snowboard club. Directed students in the design and production of play/musical posters, tickets for school events and school documents. Quickly gained a reputation as a knowledgeable and organized teacher among the staff and student population.

Responsible for planning day’s activities and following predetermined event schedules for thirteen first graders, rain or shine. In charge of the safety of each camper as they boarded and disembarked from the bus. Responsible for contacting campers’ parents and giving them updates on camper’s progress in the group. Instructed campers on swimming skills and various other activities. Recognized for ability to manage a large group with no additional help. Complimented for attitude and ability from campers’ parents.

Summer Internship: Responsible for converting old hand drawings to CAD files according to current engineering ASME standards. Had to overcome problems such as changes in technical languages resulting from advances in technologies. Interpreted design criteria/intention, and kept shop updated with most current prints. Assisted engineers with current projects for customers such as: Caterpillar Tractor, John Deere, and Power Train. Helped to maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse to achieve a 90% on time delivery rate.
