My PhD was heavily focussed on theoretical, computational, and experimental, topological photonics. Specifically, I was applying topological design principles to specialty optical fibre in order to create topological photonic crystal fibre. We published work on the world's first fabricated topological optical fibre: https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.add3522 Designed a single-shot measurement for photonic topological invariants: https://journals.aps.org/prresearch/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevResearch.6.L022010 Built a scalable Chern insulator in our fibre platform:
