The Land Development group manages programs and land development connections including Water, Sewer and Electricity services in the 72 remote communities across the Northern Territory (NT). Role provides leadership to the remote development team regarding the provision of effective communication related to development activity to the public, NT government agencies, Land developers and engineering consultants. Role ensures that the design, construction and handover of water, sewerage and electricity services relating to private and government development activities complies with standards, policies and other legislation. I am directly responsible for 3 technical coordinators and 2 administration officers.

* Design and project management of (11, 22, 66 and 132)KV transmission and distribution lines. Projects covered the whole of the Northern Territory. * Role includes and not limited to: * Project Coordinator and Management of teams * Provide Engineering Solutions to transmission line design issues * Provide Cost, Time & Scope * QA On electrical Projects * Contract Management of new projects * Project progress reporting to appropriate channels * Involved in tender initiation and assessments * Procurement or relevant electrical equipment and services. * Review consultant submission designs. * Cash Flow Management and reporting * Ensure project delivery on time by consistent monitoring. * Review of Contractor Management Plans * Mentoring of new employees * Time Management and project improvisation * Environmental Management on all new projects * Projects: * 1. Hidden Valley Motor Sports complex 66kv Dual circuit Tower replacement

1. Designed High Voltage (HV) distribution substations (115/12kv and 44/12kv) 2. Designed HV Transmission reticulation (230kv and 115kv) 3. Designed 230 and 115KV switching stations. 4. Prepared and reviewed computer aided design (CAD) schematic drawings. 5. Designed indoor layout of the SCADA communication system, its functions as well as the control house specifications. This included panel schematic, arrangement and cable connections. 6. Retrofitted and improved existing substations. This included retiring of outdated equipment, transformers, circuit breakers, relay and replaced with latest models. 7. Updated existing substations with modern Micro Processor protection relays. 8. Carried out calculations related to cable and substations battery sizing. 9. Carried out load analysis on new developments. 10. Managed projects costs by utilizing modern cost effective equipments. 11. Prepared and reviewed CAD schematic drawings.

* Operated Computer-Aided engineering and design software to perform designing tasks, ACAD Electrical drafting and designing. * Carried out power distribution design and calculations in residential and commercial settings. * Carried out energy analysis to improve Energy efficiencies in residential and commercial installations. * Designed grounding systems around residential installations. * Liaised with different design groups, i.e. structural, mechanical, civil and architectural engineers to compose a project. * Complied and implemented all safety and design codes, i.e. National Electric Code in all designs * Quality Analysis and Quality Checking on final electrical designs before release. * Complied with Underwriters Laboratories Standards for Safety in all Electrical designs * Attended regular company meetings to give updates on current projects.
