Mechanical Design Engineer @ Aether Aerospace

About

I’m a product designer and engineer with a passion for turning complex problems into practical, user-focused solutions. My background combines design thinking, hands-on prototyping, electronics, and manufacturing, with experience spanning medical devices, aerospace technology, custom electronics, and 3D printing. From redesigning medical systems during my MSc major project with Frontier Medical Group, to building custom PCBs and functional prototypes, I enjoy working across the full product development journey, from early concept generation through to testing, refinement, and production-ready outcomes.I’m particularly driven by projects where innovation meets real-world impact, whether that’s improving usability, increasing sustainability, or solving technical challenges through smart engineering decisions. My work often blends CAD, rapid prototyping, rendering, user-centred design, and problem solving, with a strong focus on creating solutions that are both commercially viable and meaningful to the end user.I thrive in multidisciplinary environments where design, engineering, and strategy come together. I enjoy collaborating with teams, learning fast, and bringing ideas to life through a mix of creativity and technical execution.Outside of my core role, I also enjoy freelance-style technical work including 3D printing, visualisation renders, and custom product development, which continues to sharpen my practical skills and entrepreneurial mindset.I’m always excited to connect with people working in product design, R&D, aerospace, medical innovation, and emerging technology.
