Major tasks included design and execution of a formulation stability study, and QA/QC analysis optimizing critical process parameters to meet critical quality attributes. Researcher tasked with the engineering design of a Gold Nanoparticle chain synthesis process. The GNP chain is a base for a Single Electron Transistor modelled glucose nanosensor. The GNP chain was optimized for low branching and high chain length in order to minimize the self-capacitance of the SET's Island and allow bridging of electrode gaps. Additionally, research was done on the control of the self-assembly process - particularly in the manipulation of the particle spacing in the chains.
