Fact-checked articles after passing through detailed fact-checking workshops run by experienced editors at the magazine; additionally, wrote book reviews for both the Spring and Summer 2025 issues. 

Upkept website updates, social media posts, and phone calls to donors. Edited and wrote short-form web articles, worked on fact-checking, and helped with any additional tasks needed from full-time staff. 

Convergence Magazine is a student publication tackling the media industry in the forms of journalism, film, music, and marketing. As part of my vision as Editor-in-Chief during my time as a student I expanded the focus to look at the bombastic "alternatives" to all these fields in the modern digital age. I wanted the magazine to pop the ceiling of what a student project can be and managing the rest of the reporters, I implementing a vision that sat comfortably for all of us.

As a reporter developed and wrote over 20 stories that were all published on Et Cetera and Humber News. Took photographs with a DSLR camera for multiple stories that made the front-page of the paper. Researched and developed ideas with focus and integrity, collaborating with editors. As one of the members of the editorial team I aided the second years in developing their opinion pieces as well as pitch in with my own researched articles when the paper is short on copies.
