- Deposit LCO thin film onto Si wafer, Al sheet, and Ni sheet with thickness < 20 nm using RF magnetron sputtering system - Anneal LCO thin film at 200 - 500 C to modify the surface. - Characterize LCO thin film using AFM, XRD, surface profiler, 4-point probe and GCD. - Make comparison performance with commercialized Li-ion battery. - In collaboration with Petronas Research Sdn Bhd (PSRB) Project: Proof-of-concept of tunneling effect in Li-ion thin film battery

• Conducting multiple research projects, including data collection, observation, and analysis, both directly and using software. • Preparing research grant proposal. • Preparing progress reports relating to research grant and laboratory safety assessment. • Supervising the undergraduate and mobility students throughout their engagement in experimental activities, fostering a secure and conducive research environment. • Reporting waste and chemical storage in the Sensor Laboratory to MiNT-SRC secretary to further OSHE process. • Several works: fabrication of gold nanobipyramids, gold nanospherical, gold nanorods, and gold bone nanorods for glucose detection, malathion detection, and temephos detection using LSPR-based sensor in a laboratory scale. Designing a portable LSPR-based sensor for further field testing. Fabrication of ZnO microflowers for diazinon and profenofos detection using optical sensor.

• Interviewing sources. • Writing press release / news article relating to activities at the Electrical Engineering Department and achievement of academicians. • Work: 8 articles. • Achievement: The Electrical Engineering Faculty is nominated as the best Press Release Management Category in the ITERA Public Relations Award 2021.

• Overseeing laboratory activities and ensuring student safety during the execution of low-voltage-based experiments, specifically in the domains of electrical circuits 1 & 2, microcontroller systems, and electronics. • Conducting experimental assessments. • Liaising between students and the laboratory staff, and supporting lecturers, facilitating a smooth and productive learning environment. • Work: 4 subjects and 200 groups (1 group = 3 – 5 students)

Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Field Work Assistant at MiNT-SRC, UTHM, leading research projects and ensuring student safety during experiments. Projects include optimizing blood glucose sensors using gold nanobipyramids, functionalization with amine and thiol groups, and developing plasmonic sensors for malathion and temephos detection.
