Working at this village pub has enhanced my communication and hospitality skills, whilst being part of a small, tightly knit team.

I worked as a waitress in this busy gastropub. Working in Hospitality for the first time was exciting and helped build on my existing customer services experiences.

I spent a day shadowing Senior News Correspondent Ian Woods at the Sky News studio in London, learning how news articles are prepared for broadcast. I was also given an exclusive sneak preview of a documentary that Ian was working on at the time, ‘A year in the death of Richard Glossip’. This gave me an invaluable, behind-the-scenes understanding of what it takes to work in a leading TV news studio.

I accompanied a Men’s Fitness magazine shoot in London on July 1st, learning about the processes involved, and the effort required from those behind the scenes helping the photographer capture and edit the perfect shot.

I worked for this boutique clothing store for over two years, enhancing my customer service skills and working as part of a team. I showed my commitment to Mint Velvet by stepping in, over the Christmas period when I had not planned to work at the store, to stand in as a manager covering for other team members who were unavailable.

With Raw Pictures I progressed from runner to Associate Producer. I have really enjoyed working with this exciting video production company, and the opportunity it has given me to liaise with clients on shoots. Highlights include filming multiple panel talks and award shows at London ITV studio and Channel 4. My experience with Raw Pictures has enhanced my passion for film and media.
