Senior retail and procurement leader with 20 years of international experience across food, near food, non‑food, and branded categories. Throughout my career at ALDI SÜD, I have consistently taken leadership roles in new, building‑phase environments, supporting market launches, new departments, and transformation into global business. I was part of the leadership team during the launch of the Slovenian market, helping establish operations and open new stores. In 2019, I joined International Buying as it began expanding and was part of the early leadership shaping new structures and processes. In 2020, I moved into the newly established Global Sourcing organization, where I played a key role in building teams, defining processes, and stabilizing a fast‑growing international setup. Today, as Group Buying Director within ALDI SÜD Holding, I oversee global sourcing for Brand Procurement and Near Food categories (Household, Health & Beauty) for 11 countries. I lead an international team, strengthen cross‑country cooperation, and drive strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier consolidation. My career journey across multiple countries and departments has been a catalyst for building resilience and adaptability. Moving from operational roles in new market launches to leading global sourcing teams has taught me the value of embracing change, navigating challenges, and continuously learning. This openness to change and my ability to thrive in dynamic environments have been instrumental in shaping my leadership approach. My leadership style is hands‑on, performance-, and people‑focused. I am an empathetic leader who empowers teams, simplify complex topics, and drive performance through clarity, collaboration, and trust. With experience leading teams of up to 150 people and working with more than 70 nationalities, I bring a strong combination of cultural awareness, efficiency, and strategic thinking.
