Natalija Marin

I work as a Staff Engineer at Helicity Space, and I am currently in final stages of my Ph.D. journey. My research focuses on magnet design (Bitter magnets) for plasma physics and fusion experiments. I also work with plasma diagnostics, specifically B-dot probes and hot-cathode (Thermionic Emission) probes. I am passionate about fusion energy and space propulsion. I have a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from a R1 university (UMBC). My certificates include P.B.C. Computational Fluid and Thermodynamics and PBC Integrated Product Development and Manufacturing. During my Batchelor's studies I acquired a Minor in Mathematics which was really exciting but also applicable to my research. Currently, I am a PhD candidate. I graduated magna cum laude in 2021 in an ABET accredited institution.
