MSc. graduate who studied muscle physiology and performance of mammals. I am excited to have been given the opportunity to apply my knowledge in nutrition to my interests in muscle physiology of animals. My Master's research focuses on understanding the effect vitamin D has on mammalian muscles through UV light exposure and vitamin D obtained through the diet. I enjoy teaching students and the community about animal biodiversity and concepts in biology as a volunteer or as a teaching assistant. I have learned many skills throughout my studies which not only help me in cooperating with others, but has also taught me skills in communicating my knowledge with people in other fields or the general community interested in learning more about animal conservation and nutrition. I joined LinkedIn to help me network with people in my field and to learn more about what job opportunities are out there for me once finishing my Master's degree. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, skiing/snowboarding and playing with my large German Shepherd puppy.
