I am a photographer and arts educator specializing in still life, food, and lifestyle photography. I teach a variety of workshops on these topics.

The Photo Tech works within client’s Technical Production Services group and is responsible for bringing clear and logical order to photographic content on and off set; which is key to building and preserving a vast and ever expanding collection of valuable digital assets, utilizing proven efficient workflows, all while following company security guidelines. They are responsible for managing all files in a prescribed standardized order, while assuring that all assets are consistently being redundantly saved on multiple encrypted hard drives. It is paramount that unbroken attention is given to the safe keeping and delivery of assets captured during the production. The Photo Tech will work with photographers as the DigiTech for shoots that are shot on an macOS & iOS devices, and will act as a traditional Digitech for Newsroom shoots as needed. This role will require working alongside the photo team, creatives, retouchers, producers, and other key stakeholders; where impeccable customer service is required under incredibly high levels of stress. Nothing on a shoot is constant so this role must be able to pivot gracefully with the myriad of ever changing needs. The Photo Tech will be responsible for interfacing and communicating directly and independently with stakeholders.

- coordinate with CEO to develop company’s visual brand - responsible for all media from project inception to final export - in charge of meal planning, cooking schedule, grocery shopping, meal prepping, ingredient sourcing, and cooking all meals - manage 100% of photo/video production: art direction, food styling, set design, prop sourcing/shopping & styling, lighting design, photography, and post processing/retouching - in charge of day to day studio operations from taking out the trash and ironing linens, to organizing dinner plates and washing dishes. - studio management: develop and manage budgets, organize and catalog props, ensure quality photo equipment maintenance and care, ordering/receiving studio supplies

- develop course curriculums for various photography courses ranging from beginner to advanced, and covering all topics from basic camera fundamentals to advanced portfolio development and advanced editing techniques - instruct groups of 10, ages range from early teens to the elderly, in all aspects of photography and Adobe editing programs

- open and close museum - assist the Director, Paula Tognarelli, with day to day operations - draft press releases for all upcoming exhibitions - receive, file, repackage, and ship exhibiting works of art - supervise and delegate tasks to the museum’s interns - assist in the take down and installation of exhibitions - responsible for all content on museum’s Instagram account - assist in book sales, museum membership, and event rentals

- coordinate and meet with private chefs in Boston area - photograph the restaurant/space, preparation of food, finished dishes, and portraits of the chef - style the preparation area, kitchen space, dining area, and final dishes - evaluate chef’s performance: knowledge of food, organization skills, charisma/personal engagement, quality of ingredients, plating, knife skills, and taste - process, retouch, and deliver photographs within 48 hour window

develop course for Intro to Digital Photography for Non Majors - instruct students on basic camera functions, color theory, history of - the photograph, Adobe digital software, digital inkjet printing, and conceptual portfolio development - provide office hours for students when necessary - work to encourage excitement and curiosity about photography
