Worked night shifts from 5pm-12:30am, 4-5 nights per week. Began server training after a few months, within a year I was helping manage lunch shifts. Responsibilities included supervising lunch service, accommodating guests and their requests, helping with To-Go orders and taking reservations over the phone for the busy night ahead. Also in charge of checking inventory, eventually trained to take inventory counts with the bar and shipments. Left to pursue my career in wedding photography in California, which I filed in 2009. Left on good terms with management and owners.

Started serving with the company in November of 2004, in March 2005 I was a certified trainer and from AugustDecember in 2005 I became a traveling trainer with the company. I transferred to the Downey location in September 2006 and immediately began bartending. Duties included: Preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons, interacting with customers, taking food orders, assessing customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations, mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails, plan and present bar menu, check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience, comply with all food and beverage regulations. Left on good terms, I moved from Downey to San Diego.
