About

I’m a University of Guelph Animal Biology graduate, with a minor in Marketing who decided to stray from a typical career path and decided to dip her toes into content creation … I’ve always had a passion for helping others and bringing positivity, impact, and change into the lives around me. I also always had a creative bone for as long as I can remember. These virtues of mine led me to take a year off from school after graduating and now, I’m extremely happy to say that I am currently the CEO of my own art business, nurri's nook, and create content as a Partnered streamer on Twitch! The perfect combination of being able to express myself creatively and bringing positivity to my viewers and customers, all while making an income has truly been a fulfilling and surprising journey. However, it is now time for me to take all of what I learned through these ventures and apply it to corporate settings to further my skills, my experiences, and myself. I’m looking forward to applying myself and growing and gaining new skills in the digital marketing space, product development, or packaging design. Luckily, I picked up a lot of handy skills through running my own business and brand; you end up becoming your own IT, product developer and designer, market researcher, customer service representative, social media manager, product banding, website developer, and more!! I also thrive in both independent work and team settings, typically taking on leadership roles (my DECA experiences and escape room friends can definitely attest to this)! Furthermore, I picked up some experience with specific software such as Procreate, Canva, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, OBS, Notion, WordPress, and Woocommerce. I am currently working towards attaining certifications with Google through Coursera for UXUI Design and am thoroughly enjoying it so far! I also recently signed up for a course for stick and poke tattoos... that'll definitely be fun and interesting~ I have particular interests in gaming, skin care and beauty, and animal welfare industries.
