After joining Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. in April 2020, I was responsible for the operational management of JAL Group flights arriving at and departing from Osaka International Airport. Specifically, my duties involved communicating weather conditions and other information to aircraft before departure and during flight, as well as coordinating with relevant departments regarding matters such as parking bay assignments. I also obtained my Air Traffic Radio Operator license (a national certification) that same year.In October 2021, I was assigned to the Osaka branch of the IOC (Integrated Operations Control), which centrally manages JAL Group operations, where I was responsible for flight operations management for J-AIR flights. My duties were broadly divided into two categories: “Flight Planning” and “Flight Monitoring.” Flight planning involves collecting and analyzing information such as weather conditions and aircraft maintenance status to create flight plans that optimize efficiency by determining fuel loads and flight routes. These flight plans are submitted to the Civil Aviation Bureau as well as to the flight crew. Flight monitoring involves providing ground-based operational support during flights in accordance with the flight plan, particularly when irregularities such as sudden weather changes or aircraft malfunctions occur. Using aviation radio and satellite phones, we discuss and decide on actions such as changing the destination or returning to the point of departure.In October 2022, I was transferred to the IOC at headquarters, where I have been working as an Operations Manager (Head of Operations) for JAL’s domestic flights. In February 2023, I passed the Operations Manager Skills Certification Exam and obtained the Operations Manager (National Qualification). Since October 2023, I have also been serving on the internal venture team “W-PIT,” where I am involved in a new business venture related to saunas.2020年4月、日本航空株式会社に入社後、大阪国際空港を発着するJALグループ運航便のオペレーション業務を担当していました。具体的には、出発前や飛行中の航空機に対して気象状況などの伝達や、駐機スポットの割り当てを含む関係各所との調整業務です。また、同年に航空無線通信士（国家資格）を取得しました。2021年10月、JALグループの運航を集中管理するIOC（Integrated Operations Control）の大阪分室に配属され、J-AIR運航便の運航管理業務を担当していました。業務は「飛行計画」と「飛行監視」の2業務に大別されます。飛行計画は、気象状況や航空機の整備状況などの情報を収集・分析し、最も効率的な運航となるような搭載燃料や飛行経路を踏まえた飛行計画を作成するものです。飛行計画は、運航乗務員のほか航空局に提出されます。飛行監視は、飛行計画に沿って運航する中で、天候の急変や機材不具合などのイレギュラーが発生した際に地上から運航支援する業務です。航空無線や衛星電話などを用いて、目的地の変更や出発地への引き返しなどを協議し、決定します。2022年10月に本社のIOCに異動し、現在までJAL国内線の運航管理者（オペレーション責任者）として勤務しています。2023年2月に、運航管理者技能検定に合格し、運航管理者（国家資格）を取得しました。2023年10月より、社内ベンチャーチーム「W-PIT」を兼務し、サウナ関連の新規事業に携わっています。
