Organized clothing in stockroom. Ran stock checks for customers and sales floor associates. Handled shipments to and from the store. Answering phones, training new employees in stockroom organizational system, preparing clothes to be put on the sales floor, setting up new displays before store opening. Restocking sales floor with clothing items from dressing rooms and stockroom. Communicated with managers about floor projects, communicated with coworkers in stockroom and sales floors, communicated with other store locations via phone.

Piloted a new outreach program for Literacy, STEM, and Middle School Leadership tracks in the Greater San Diego school district. Our goal is to identify students that are stuck in the Achievement Gap with low level literacy skills, and coaching these students in small group settings, incorporating diagnostic testing and comprehensive literacy centers and projects.

In this semester-long position I took was in charge corresponding with the SDSU Research Foundation for maintenance, parking leases, and overall housing information. I was also in charge of house chores, purchasing utilities for the house, and holding bi-weekly house meetings with tenants; as well as corresponding with all tenants on housing matters.

Seasonal exam proctoring for high school students in the San Dieguito Union High School District. Organizing exam booklets, papers, pencils before students arrive. Checking students in, assisting students with questions, assisting head proctors with testing, administering tests in one on one situations for disabled students.

Seasonal job in assisting customers in finding merchandise. Communicating with stock room staff, stocking shelves, researching product items in book store computer data base.

Communicating with Lawyers, printing, copying documents, faxing documents. Answering phones, making appointments, using a computer based filing and billing system. Organizing legal binders, as well as billing binders. Delivering documents to court.

Following and including Youth 1 duties, I also work in the PRYDE education and character development outreach program in the after school setting. This includes: - leading group discussions on social awareness, character traits, underage drugs & alcohol dangers, gang dangers and prevention, and healthy and safe living. - organizing service projects for students, creating/modifying lesson-plans and projects for students from 3rd grade to 5th.

* Working with elementary school students from kindergarten to 5th grade * Administering STEAM based common core academic curriculum/activities for elementary aged students * Running cooperative play indoor and outdoor games, taking meeting notes, assisting in planning site events, providing weekly art activities, running scan-in and scan-out when needed. * Teaching the YMCA's P.R.Y.D.E program once a week to 3-4th grade students * Head coaching Girls on the Run on-site for girls form 3rd to 5th grade twice a week * Working with GOTR assistant coaches on our twice weekly practices and lessons. * Registering GOTR students online (and in mail) and corresponding with GOTR directors during the registration process as well as throughout the whole running season. * I also know a lot of camp songs, attention getters, validations, energy awards, and transitions!

Under the direct supervision of the PRYDE Coordinator II, responsible for the management, supervision, implementation and contractual/regulatory compliance of ASES (PrimeTime) Before and After School Programs, as well as the development, implementation, and supervision of the PRYDE literacy program and all PRYDE related academic initiatives at two specific school sites.

Under the direction of the site supervisor, implement the PRYDE Literacy and Intervention Plan at a specific before and after school program. These items include curriculum implementation, data collection and assessment implementation. When the Site Supervisor-PRYDE is not present, directly responsible for ensuring the PRYDE program is planned, prepared, and implemented in a way that ensures we are providing the highest level of care and impact for youth. Support specific PRYDE outreach events such as the yearly Camp Marston trip, holiday outreaches, Annual Support Campaign and other events.
