crisis care concordat project lead

The Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat is a national agreement between services and agencies involved in the care and support of people in crisis. The Concordat piloted a new model focusing on innovation and service transformation across all localities in England. Working at Head level, I was responsible for ensuring the good governance and delivery of the project against contractual (Department of Health) and organisational requirements. I worked with practitioners and representatives from across sectors, including: clinical commissioning, police, ambulance, Government (including Ministers), local authorities, Royal Colleges and regulation. I led engagement with senior stakeholders at the national level as well as providing support to ensure implementation of the Concordat in local areas. I managed Mind's relationships with key programme partners and project subcontractors. I advised Welsh Government as it sought to mirror the Concordat model in Wales.
