- Line management of all Product team members, both Quality Assurance and Software Engineers, reporting to the CTO. - Work with Senior Management on project progress, issues and general department performance. - Collaborate closely with other teams and Department Heads to ensure software project delivery is in line with business and customer expectations. - Work across departments within the company to improve the sales process (e.g. penetration tests, PoC sign-offs, RFP documents etc.). - Plan and manage business, team, and individual-level KPIs in conjunction with the rest of the business. - Manage resources to projects as required ensuring best use and that they provide a quality service to their designated project - Help and coach the Product team to overcome obstacles and blockers to their work, using Continuous Improvement.

- Line management of all Product team members, both Quality Assurance and Software Engineers (25 people). Reporting to the Head of Engineering. - Responsibility for ensuring that Product teams are working effectively towards the goals set out by the business, with a particular emphasis on implementing quality-focused processes. - Work with the team defining the test strategies to ensure a balance of automation vs. UAT / non-functional test activities (e.g. performance or scale) - Facilitate effective communication, both between and across multiple Product teams. - Coordinate regular product delivery to customers (working with customers’ internal change control processes, projects in flight etc.) - Work with the team to design and implement quality processes, contributing a large amount of work towards the successful achievement of ISO9001. - Work directly with customers on deployment and production issues. - Mentor members of the team through one-to-one meetings and annual performance reviews.

- Helped scale out the Continuous Delivery approach to all customers and environments, including working directly on secure Azure infrastructure (IaC) with Senior Software Engineers. - Provisioned, owned and managed both internal and external Azure environments (access control, cost management, release coordination etc.) - Embedded the DevOps culture by coordinating the testing, deployment and monitoring of the work of 25 engineers - helping to move to much more frequent and smaller releases.

- Ensuring that the software and solutions created are of the highest quality possible by leading and coordinating testing at various levels (i.e. working with Engineers to achieve the right balance of Unit, Integration and End-to-End tests). - Worked with the Head of Engineering to introduce DevOps culture as we moved to CI/CD in the Cloud.

- Direct line manager for a team of 8 QA Engineers. - Develop and manage practices to ensure quality throughout all phases of development including requirements, design, and right through into production. - Identify deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.

- I was the ‘Go To’ person for product knowledge amongst team members and the wider company. - Reported on the progress of projects and highlighted any issues to ensure deadlines were met.

- Direct line manager for a team of 3 QA Engineers. - Helped to ensure the overall product quality and all deliverables were compliant and met customer expectations.

- Planned, created and manually ran tests for multiple products; SharePoint add-ons, data migration products etc.

Placement Year

During my studies I worked as a sales advisor, dealing with cash handling duties. I also dealt with stock deliveries and had sales targets which I met daily.
