Research Development & Adoption Development and coordination of integrated value chain on-farm programs across cattle and sheep supply chains, with a focus on strategic outcomes for industry impact.

Assistance of project management across the research, development and adoption programs in both a technical and administrative capacity. Program exposure in this role included grassfed beef productivity, sheep productivity, value chain, objective measurement and capability and innovation programs.

Short-term secondment focused on developing strategic policy positions on key livestock issues affecting NSW, including drought feedlotting and traceability. Delivered briefing papers and policy documents to support industry committees and decision-making processes.

Oversaw the day-to-day operations of a 6,000-head feedlot, including full management of the cattle team and livestock performance across multiple market channels—domestic retail, branded beef programs, and live export. Key responsibilities included individual animal management, compliance and livestock administration, and ensuring alignment with market specifications. Led weekly performance reviews and business reporting, including cost-benefit analysis, invoice monitoring, and cost structure evaluation, to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
