I tell compelling stories through drama and poetry and inspire others to do the same with my educational and community work. I have over 20 years of experience in audio drama, producing for BBC Radio Drama and BBC World Service - I am now moving into the world of podcasts. I have written plays, series and dramatisations for Radio 4 and Radio Berkshire, episodes for ITV and BBC TV drama series and an original screenplay which was shortlisted for a WeScreenplay award. I have an expertise in creating British Asian characters and stories and offer consultancy to companies on how to create more diversity in their drama content. I am a published poet and have performed all over the country, including in an 18th century Bathhouse, and a lifeboat station. Currently reaching out to find interesting projects and collaborators.

I wrote a series of poems about 6 objects from the museum which now make a stunning sculpture trail. I also wrote "Ode to Amelia", a long poem celebrating Princess Amelia, George 2nd's daughter who left an 18th century bath house in Gunnersbury Park.

I produced and directed new plays and series for radio drama, including directing Tommies, a major series about the First World War - this recently won a BBC radio award for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity. The role also involved script editing and development with new and established writers.

I set up and ran brand new "Creative Writing" and "Write a Play" courses for this adult education college. I taught an exciting mix of script writing, prose, and poetry to students who were mainly new to writing. The courses were highly successful with excellent feedback from students and always full to capacity.
