Currently I am working on the study of present ECBC norms with respect to energy efficiency in public buildings with relevant case studies of affordable housing with energy efficiency features. It also involves study of the mechanism, and Roles and Responsibilities of different agencies for effective implementation of energy efficiency norms in affordable housing projects in India with further suggestions for applicability of ECBC to affordable housing projects in India.

The prospect of providing economical and convenient “last mile connectivity” (LMC), that is, from the trip ends to the point of accessing a public transport system, is an area of much neglect in Indian cities, including Delhi. The important questions that the project tries to address are: an assessment of comfort, time, space, cost, incurred in the LMC as a ratio of the total journey for rapid transportation system users; user preferences and alternatives available, for LMC; and in the end, whether lack of efficient LMC options is a decisive element in the commuter’s choice of secret modes and how it involves the overall efficiency of a public transit organization.

My work experience includes working with the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon on the issue of Urban Villages as I wanted an insight about the functioning of a major governing body of a city and personally trust that until you are not mindful of the problem to ascertain a solution is inevitable. This project was targeted at the feasibility survey of the proposed renovation and regeneration of Sainikhera village in Gurgaon by analysing the current status of the services being offered by the municipality and the challenges being faced in doing so. Established along the study further analysis, both physical and financial for conceiving the project was managed

Studied, Urban Development & Management which included 1 year class room study with a course outline involving - policy making, city & region planning, urban regeneration, bench marking in urban sectors for providing basic & high-class services, slum redevelopment, poverty alleviation & services to urban poors, urban governance, transportation and mass transit system, geo informatics, land use, land change,project management, real estate development etc. Another whole year consists of core training with urban local bodies for 3rd sem & any high ended firm chosen by the area of interest during 4th sem
