(as per Bom sorting) • Vendor evaluation. • Costing of components. • Negotiation with vendors. • Material follow up with vendor. • Sending RFQ/Inquiries to vendors and maintain record of that RFQ. • Updating and explaining MRM files. • Price book in LN/BAN • Creating purchase order in LN/BAN.

Responsibility:  Works as purchase engineer for actuator manufacturing industry.  Procuring all types of fasteners, castings and raw material.  Price negotiation and vendor follow up.  New development of jobs.

• Work as a purchase engineer for valve manufacturing industry. • Procuring all types of cnc, vmc, lathe machine tools, welding materials, general services, and maintenance material and consumables items. • Vendor Selection against basic price of RM, Vendor Capacity & Quality of RM. • Regular interaction with vendors for Progress of development and arrangement of samples. • Samples approval process through PLM. • Getting quotation from vendor & negotiation of price of material with respect to current trend of Raw Material on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis as per the norms • Do costing of materials & make cost sheet in details for finalizing the price. • Filing the raw material updated negotiated price in LN system. • Transfer the purchase requisition (PR) which is given by planning in LN and place the Purchase order in LN. • Maintaining all record of new sample and ordered material. • Taking follow up with supplier for Delivery/Rejection/Shortage of material required for Valve & Production trial/Production line. • Follow up with Vendor as per Production plan & requirement of Material. • Material procurement & planning against monthly rolling Plan & indent also. • No Production loss due to material shortage. • Proper Inventory Planning in order to have smooth production with minimum Inventory. • Participating in weekly meeting and updating material availability • Quarterly vendor assessment of all local suppliers. • Updating MRM reports on monthly basis. • Making the ITR of company on Inventory & Sales Data
