Development and Implementation of best in class buyer-supplier relationship to achieve value for money. Supply chain risk assessment and analysis for both local and foreign buys. Responsible for and planning, organizing and managing the procurement process for the organization. • Ensuring that the procurement process is in adherence to company and board requirements, company policies and procedures to ensure successful delivery of organisational requirements. • Interface with other functional departments and vendors for all matters related to the procurement of materials, equipment and service scope. • Developing in conjunction with senior production and technical director the project procurement plan/ stock projection and execution strategy for the projects. • Preparation of bidding documents for sub-contracting of works and services. • Developing a commercially sound vendor base, survey markets for new supply sources and maintain project approved vendor list. • Monitoring and reviewing of market conditions, price and delivery trends for project materials and equipment. . 1.Execution of Spot Buy process (analyzing spot buys, supplier sourcing, conducting RFQs, executing Negotiations and supplier selections, Free text purchase requests update) 2.Close/change/modify Purchase Orders related to spot buys (Managing requisition changes or close PO if no longer needed, Managing PO changes: Upon supplier/user request to amend POs, follow up with user/supplier to determine feasibility; change/modify POs if needed.) 3.Periodically monitor catalogues, contracts and “Buying Guide” content and revise as needed (Supporting the internal customer by establishing content, ensuring relevancy and integrity of contract and catalogue content and ensuring service levels, Interfacing with relevant stakeholders to improve catalogue accuracy, Connecting with suppliers to ensure accuracy of vendor master data. Proactively follow-up with Category Managers to identify content updates to improve service levels, Monitoring expiring contracts and trigger renewal and update catalogues, contract and “Buying Guide” systems (content only) as appropriate, Monitoring contracts with changing terms & conditions and perform related updates, Reviewing and monitoring support process efficiency and recommend opportunities for increasing effectiveness)
