Advising various business heads and their teams in the Company with regards to the best legal course of action to take keeping in mind each department's individual practical and commercial goals; Drafting, negotiation and concluding various corporate transactional documents with third parties; Providing corporate transactional advice to different business teams including Private Equity, Public Equity, REIT, Human Resources, IT, Digital Communication and Sales; Reviewing, vetting, and drafting all in-house contractual templates for different businesses and standardising the most frequently used ones; Helping conduct land, corporate and other due diligence in collaboration with the external counsel and advisers; Performing all company secretarial functions including maintaining a record of minutes of meetings, resolutions, overseeing timely filings of statutory forms and coordinating with the Board of Directors; Performing all committee secretarial functions and coordinating with the board committee members and management with respect to investments as Secretary of the Board Investment Committee; Building interface with the Securities Exchange of Pakistan, Central Depository Trustee and other regulatory bodies; Overseeing all litigation matters and creating effective case strategies; Overseeing all regulatory affairs and collaborating with the Compliance team; Managing and helping mitigate risks; and Managing legal operations.

Conducting legal arguments before the Hon'ble High Court of Sindh, Karachi in a wide variety of corporate and commercial cases; formulating case strategies; opining on matters related to corporate, tax and shipping law; and, drafting contracts and negotiating with other counsel and third parties on behalf of clients.

Practiced law as an Advocate of the High Courts in a variety of civil and commercial matters and constitutional petitions, appeared in banking courts representing banks, represented clients and argued before the National Industrial Relations Commission in grievances of workmen re labour practices, and opined on new amendments in tax law as well as company and regulatory matters.

Practiced as an Advocate of the High Court of Sindh in a diverse range of matters including property, company and commercial matters, family law, employment matters, tort and banking and finance. I also represented clients in white collar crime proceedings successfully.

Primarily involved in corporate and commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, finance, digital finance, payment operating systems, public-private partnerships, restructuring and reorganisations. Also involved in advisory work providing opinions on various regulatory and legal issues in Pakistan including labour law.

Preparing legal briefs and arguing cases of a diverse range before the District Courts of Karachi, Pakistan. Conducting extensive legal research, drafting legal documents and assisting senior counsel in proceedings of cases before the High Court of Sindh, Pakistan.
