Myriam Watfa

With more than 11 years of experience in pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, and public health, I am working at the intersection of science, policy, and health systems. My academic journey includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a Master’s in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences, and a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Along the way, I am leading projects, managing stakeholders, and conducting national health surveys, all while promoting safe and effective healthcare delivery. My employers included the World Health Organization, the International Labour Organization, the World Bank, and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, where I was advancing initiatives in health services management, vaccine safety, and pharmaceutical quality assurance. Research and knowledge-sharing remain a priority, with contributions to publications in pharmacology, primary health care, infectious diseases, and pharmacovigilance. Being fluent in Arabic, French, and English, is helping me collaborate across cultures and strengthen global networks. What drives me is building stronger health systems, shaping evidence-based solutions, and contributing to safer, more accessible healthcare worldwide.
