Act as the subject-matter expert for Collins Aerospace Avionics business units on environmental sustainability matter, including, but not limited to, operational efficiency, renewable energy strategy, GHG emissions, and resource consumption. Select, allocate, and manage capital investment funds dedicated to sustainability projects to improve the business' ESG rating and achieve specific sustainability goals. Notable accomplishments since Q4 2022: - Invested US$1.5M in the first ever solar array system for Collins Aerospace Avionics business unit generating 15% of the energy load for its Mexicali, MEX facility. - Lead the execution of renewable energy procurement contracts in two key markets, resulting in a reduction of over 5,000 metric tons of CO2e in the span of 3 years across Avionics operations. - Initiated and funded the transition from natural gas to geothermal energy for the Blagnac, FRA Avionics campus and thus completely eliminating the reliance on fossil fuels for the site.

Enable the execution of environmental sustainability initiatives, programs, tools, and new technology across the organization's operations (approx. 30 food processing and manufacturing sites in the United States). Provide support to on-site personnel and manage projects which support the company's global environmental sustainability strategy and goals. Work alongside finance, procurement, legal, compliance, engineering and operation groups to drive a holistic approach to the company's Environmental Management System based on the ISO14001 framework. Engage with the Corporate Responsibility department to align environmental efficiency and effectiveness strategies with our operations nationwide and validate environmental KPIs data reported.

Oversees environmental compliance matters (i.e. wastewater, stormwater, air emissions, hazardous waste, DOT HazMat, TRI, Tier II, etc.) and provides regulatory support for facilities located in California, Minnesota, New Mexico and South Dakota. Collaborates with operations, engineering and safety departments to execute various facility upgrades and projects improving production output, reduce environmental impact, and achieve the highest safety standards.

Managed all aspects of the facility's environmental health & safety program which included OSHA's general industry standards, industrial stormwater compliance, industrial wastewater compliance, air emission compliance, EPCRA/RCRA compliance, Dept. of Homeland Security Compliance for chemicals of interests, and portions of the PSM/RMP compliance program.

Managed and lead the facility's environmental health and safety management systems including all aspects of compliance assurance (ie. OSHA, MNOSHA, EPA, MPCA, DOT, ISO 14001, etc.). Supported the sustainability initiatives to meet or exceed corporate expectations, reduce the organization's environmental impact, and maintain the facility's ISO 14001 certification. Developed and implemented all aspects of OSHA and EPA related programs and policies.

Advised over 25 manufacturing companies in Canada and the United States on all environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance topics. Responsibilities included facility inspections, training development and delivery, program development and implementation, and addressing regulatory matter such as complaints, citations, or violations.
