Provide administrative support to the Chief of Police. Perform the accounting and purchasing procedures for the Police Department, maintain and update accounting databases, revise and renew contracts, create purchasing requisitions, check requests, and capital equipment requisitions for the department. Attend meetings with administrative staff as well as act as liaison between Purchasing/Accounting and the Police Department. Create and maintain several statistical reports for the Police Department on a monthly basis. Also, provide administrative support to the Vice President of Facilities Support Services.

Was in charge of creating and distributing I.D. badges to employees and non-employees, administrative support for two Lieutenants, and perform basic reception duties (filing, faxing, typing, telephone reception, etc.)

Responsible for carrying out the operational responsibilities of data analysis, trending and reporting functions of crime and police offense reports for Parkland’s Police Department in order to assist management in the successful analysis and achievement of data and goals.
