► Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Activities for Onshore and Offshore projects of the company. ► Participating in all activities related to EPC projects regarding instrumentation and control engineering. ► Review Engineering of New project, including P&IDs, Data sheets, instruments specifications, and cables specifications. ► Review engineering deliverables, Prepare/review the P&IDs, Technical Bid Evaluations, Layouts, Data sheets, Material Requisitions, Scope of Work for OEM services, Vendor Engineering deliverables, 3D models, as relevant to the Instrumentation discipline. ► Supervision on the contractor works in the I&C construction works, and reviewing work reports. ► Responsible for project development: engineering studies, technical bid reviews, preliminary engineering, detail designs, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, handover, commissioning and startup. ► Review and check out preliminary, basic, and detailed instrumentation engineering studies and associated deliverables, e.g. , FDS, datasheets, cable routes, drawings, control philosophies, etc. ► Approve various certificates regarding instrument devices and control loops components regarding testing and commissioning of company projects. ► Review of project schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned project progress and periodically check the performance of the contractor. ► Reviewing the design of new control systems produced by company or contractors to ensure compliance with company instrumentation general specifications and applicable project instrumentation specifications. ► Applying procedures related to projects phases, engineering phases, Bidding procedures, procurement processes, construction requirements and up-to-date best practices. ► Supervising the activities of Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Startup, and Operation of I&C systems. ► Review and provide input to the Functional Specification for PCS and Field Instrumentation that fully comply to specs

My role includes: •Supervising the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for control systems, SIS, and instrument devices in assigned sub-systems in accordance with the commissioning procedures and commissioning and start-up schedule. •Supervision of the plans execution for plants instruments & control systems routine maintenance, and corrective maintenance and shutdown activities. •Supporting FEED engineering in the field of instrumentation and control systems applied to company oil & gas plants of the company, either for upgrades or developing new projects. •Job hazard analysis & risk assessment. •Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) evaluation, proof testing, and validation; as a certified FS Engineer (TÜV Rhineland). •Provide design assistance in the identification, sizing, selection and procurement of field instrumentation including all types of instruments control valves. •Support and facilitate the effective delivery of the various assurance reviews required including HAZOP and Functional Safety Assessments. •Perform functional test for major installed rotating equipment and vessels and assure all logics are satisfied before start up. •Conduct safety integrity level (SIL) study and participate in (HAZOP) review . •Ensuring compliance of all maintenance activities with relevant health and safety regulations, and with the ISO14001 & OHSAS18001. •Troubleshooting and programming the ALLEN BRADLEY ControlLogix5000, Allen Bradley SLC 500, and PLC5 software and hardware. •Supervision of periodical calibration & tests of various instruments & gas metering units. •Support the development of Process Control Applications on DCS, PLC and SIS, and commissioning /maintenance of gas plant instruments, control systems and SIS systems (“PLC Allen Bradley”, DCS “Foxboro”, and ESD “Trident, Triconex and HIMA” systems). •Support and supervise design, implementation and commissioning of new control loops as per site requirements.

•Designing and building control and shutdown systems. •PLC (ALLEN BRADLEY ControlLogix5000, Allen Bradley SLC 500, and PLC5) programming in accordance to IEC 61131standard. •Design and implementation of SCADA systems and HMI using various systems and various softwares (Wonderware Intouch, RSView,….) . •Operation, maintenance and modification of various SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) in accordance with IEC-61511 standard, this is for many systems (HIMA, Trident, Triconex,..,). •Preventive & corrective maintenance of instruments & process control systems (either DCS or PLC based systems). •Commissioning and maintenance of gas plant instruments, control and SIS systems (DCS Foxboro I/A, PLC Allen Bradley, and ESD systems). •Designing, implementing and commissioning of new control loops as per site requirements. •Design of OPC and DDE interfaces to connect different control systems and asset monitoring systems. •Assist vendors with SAT/ Loop testing and functional testing, and their commissioning activities. •Process control loops tuning; setting Proportional, Integral, and Derivatives factors for the process control loops. •Testing, calibration, commissioning and servicing of all types field instruments & control valves, and On/off valves. •Review of control philosophy, P&I diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, instruments list, & flow chart. •Carrying out the planning and the programming of the maintenance management system database (CMMS). •Applying MOC (Management of Change) procedures on any modification of the process control or the SIS systems of the process plants. •Installation, calibration and loop checking of the field instruments. •Pressure safety valves calibration & testing by Ventil VCB30 (Valves & Pressure Safety Valves Test Bench). •Maintenance and operation of various types of control valves and both shutdown & blowdown valves. •Sizing, selection, calibration, and maintenance of gas metering units, for custody transfer purposes.
