Michael Ventura

Hi, I’m Michael Ventura. I work with leaders and organizations navigating moments of consequence. As the author of Applied Empathy (Simon & Schuster, 2018) and the forthcoming Constellation Thinking (Authors Equity, 2027), my work explores emotional intelligence, purpose, and systems thinking as practical disciplines for leadership. For nearly two decades, I founded and led Sub Rosa, advising organizations including the ACLU, Chanel, GE, Google, Nike, the United Nations, and the Obama-Biden Administration. Along the way, I’ve served as visiting faculty at Princeton University, the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, the United States Military Academy at West Point, and the Esalen Institute. Today, I work across executive teams, conferences, and leadership programs through keynotes, facilitation, and strategic advisory engagements. My focus is simple: helping leaders confront reality clearly, strengthen alignment, and make decisions grounded in empathy and commercial discipline.
