As an Opcon MES Application Engineer, my responsibilities are as follows: - Preparation of web and line servers for production area - Installation of required MES modules and respective services, databases and clients - Creation of Opcon Server System projects for communication between machines and production servers - Supporting PLC programmers on-site during MES application

In this newly founded company, I was responsible for all actions in engineering manners such as deciding the methodologies used in projects, selecting appropriate products in the market and applying the engineering knowledge to succeed the projects by considering customers´ requirements. Some projects have been achieved : - Aluminium glass clips machine: It contains stepper motors and spindle motors. - Automatic screw-driving machine: In this project three servo motors, which were responsible for moving in the direction of x, y and a rotation action, were used . There are 12 points, which have to be taught by a Manuel Pulse Generator, to be screwed in the manner of industrial robot´s applications in industry. - Y Machine: In this project the aim is to shape an aluminium material by integrating two servo motors on the previous aluminium glass clips machine. Although the used PLC does not have the feature of circular interpolation, the required mathematical formulation was created and applied to get the desired shape, which are circular and/or s, with a general formulation that constitutes the reductor rate, tool's radius, depth and width of the shape(s) as variables.
