• Co-ordinate work between Engineering & Geology teams to meet the metal targets • Generate/update life of mine plans (LOM), budgets and forecasts to maximize revenue • Provide guidance to grade-control drilling plan to align with the mining plan • Maintain and improve mining cost model • Long-range mine planning: design optimum mine phase plans and related schedules, prepare dumping plans and schedules using OPMS (RPM), Minesched,Surpac,Whittle • Develop dump plans and designs as required. Determine costs/benefits of the alternatives • Monitor current dump construction, coordinate leaching, mining and engineering activities • Monitor actual haulage profiles, making changes/recommendations to mining operations to ensure safe, practical and cost-efficient mining operations • Mine equipment selection and coordinating various capital projects involving major equipment (haul trucks, production drills, pre-split drills, dozers) as required • Development of in-pit infrastructure plans • Pit dewatering strategy and pump selection • Communicating long and medium-term plans to Production Engineers/Operations shift supervisors • Identifying how to meet the required production target & work with short term planning team to meet the plan. Pit optimization for additional pit in Aktogay mine. We calculated mcaf/pcaf/incremental cost etc… Pit design did in Surpac and TOP-D (Open pit mine design tool). LOM did in OPMS (XPAC RPM Global product). For hauling and loading calculation used Haulsim (3-D simulation).

• Prepare realistic monthly (3-month plan) production plans for implementation by the Mine Operations group, ensuring its implementation through short-term plans (2 week plan, 48 hrs plan) • Generate designs for concepts from Long-range planning: pit design, mine haul road design, leach pad development design, topsoil dump, waste dump development, etc. • Production performance reporting: managing monthly and annual reports • Maintaining documentation (required by RoK regulations) for dump areas, benches, working faces, etc. • Weekly inspections of all active production areas • Liaise with other Mine departments/functions to maximize productivity and help ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Evaluate all potential solutions to planning issues as they arise, and develop the most safe and cost effective plan to overcome the problem • Monitor and regularly report on key production statistics • Define material sequence and fleet allocation. Meet mill feed and metal delivery requirements • Identify and communicate safety/production issues to operations • Work with the drill and blast engineer to sequence blasting in line with the plan • Design in-pit accesses as needed • Ensure all activities are compliant with Company policies and procedures and state regulations • Monitor and report Daily/Weekly/Monthly mine production performance • Reconcile mine plans in a timely manner. • Manage contractors, consultants and vendors as required.
