* Developed a REST API to modify data from third-party sensors and communicate with the SMATS analytics platform * Added the ability to send data from the Android application to the analytics platform and scan devices in background threads * Added the functionality to ignore random mac addresses which ensured all stored mac addresses mapped to a single device * Integrated processes into the web application which allowed clients to remotely monitor the memory usage, change the internet source, and identity whether the time has been synced on their sensors

* Masked the navigation keys on the Blackberry KEYone device during swipe events on the keyboard to resolve the issue of users unintentionally navigating to the home screen * Added counters to the fingerprint service on the DTEK60 to record the number of failed scans, successful scans, and lockouts to help debug issues in the fingerprint service quicker * Used fastboot to flash images of new builds onto the DTEK60 and KEYone device and logged new issues in JIRA

Teaching assistant for a first year introduction to programming course (ITI1120). Taught first year students about the basic principles of software engineering: structure decomposition, documentation, testing, and debugging. Also helped students program arrays, strings, matrices, records, and recursion in Python.

* Developed full-stack web features for the company web application using CSS, JavaScript, Groovy, PostgreSQL, and the Grails Framework * Integrated the Datatables JQuery plug-in with the web application to present tables in a more organized manner and add more functionality to the tables

* Developed a web form that allowed clients to create cases for fraudulent transactions * Performed smoke tests and user stories which resulted in 15 bugs discovered and resolved prior to the release date

* Designed a toaster notification to be displayed in the web application when an agent receives an incoming call or email * Developed modal dialogues to notify users when they attempt to navigate away from a page without saving their changes * Integrated a local storage service to save work timers to ensure consistent countdowns between page refreshes
