Started with Ibrahim Al Nabooda Contracting in 2022 in an accounting role, then gradually developed my responsibilities across finance, procurement coordination, project costing, and operations support until reaching a Finance & Operations role in 2025. My work involved construction accounting, supplier and subcontractor payment follow-up, invoice checking, reconciliations, VAT-related documentation, project expenses, procurement coordination, quotations, and coordination with site teams, consultants, clients, suppliers, and management. I also supported project operations by following up on project progress, cost control, material requirements, subcontractor matters, client/consultant communication, and daily operational issues to ensure smooth project delivery. This experience helped me combine accounting knowledge with practical construction operations experience, giving me a strong understanding of project costs, supplier payments, site requirements, and management reporting.
