In this role I led electrical and automation projects for various clients within the mining(gold,platinum, chrome, nickel, lithium), and manufacturing( sugar, FMCG) industries. I was involved in the full lifecycle of the projects all the way to handover ensuring that project objectives, timelines, scope and quality are met. This entails process and systems audits, project proposal documentation, electrical schematics design, PLC programming(Automation Studio 5000), SCADA design( FactoryTalk View Studio), process design and optimisation, method statements, Standard Operating Procedure, Commissioning and project handover. I was an Assistant Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer at Sinohydro Zim for the Hwange Expansion Project . I was involved in equipment installations of boiler 7 and 8( Dofang Boiler Group) : •Forced Draft, Induced Draft, Primary Air and Sealing Air fans •Coal mills, coal bucket cleaning and coal feeders •Boiler Feedwater Pumps(BFP), Condensate Pumps and Vacuum pumps •Condensate Storage Tanks •Condenser cooling water tubes and overall Condenser I was also instrumental in the drafting of installation procedures and operation and maintenance manuals of equipment. I also played a pivotal role in resolving NCRs from the project employer. I also participated in the following tests that were pivotal in the project: 1. Unit 7 Boiler hydrostatic pressure test. 2 Unit 7 Condenser water filling test 3. Unit 7 Condensate Tank hydrostatic pressure test. I also participated in safety documentation issuing reviewing and drafting, HIRA plans drafting and reviewing and accident investigations, Field Change Notices and Rigging Study documents. I was a key team member liaising with the ZPC Project team, equipment manufacturer( DEC), ZPC consultant ( HATCH) and the plant designer( Henani Institute) ensuring that equipment was installed per the Factories and Works Act, installation procedures; ASME, IEC and IEEE standards; passing Factory Acceptance tests and that the plant is designed and installed for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) I appointed technicians ( Electricians, Weilders and Fitters) for the project guided by the Factories and Works Act, ensuring they're familiar with the project guidelines eg HSE guideline effecting quality and competent work. I also supervised inspections and managed the Thermal Machinery department technicians towards achieving set daily targets, monthly targets and quarterly targets.

I was a student an Intern Control and Instrumentation Engineer at Harare Power Station in the control and instrumentation department. My duties under supervision included daily plant checks, feild instrumentation calibrations, process controllers programming, electrical equipment maintenance and wiring of instrumentation circuits. I was also involved in the mechanical maintenance of the plant and carried out pump, fans(FD and ID), Boiler hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.I was also a team player in essential outage works such as hydrostatic pressure tests and boiler start ups. I was involved in projects that aided better boiler and turbine control and increased power production at Harare Power Station.

Mastered in Engineering primarily focusing on industrial engineering and its' integration to the business structure of an organisation. My dissertation titled : Design of a machine learning based vibration analysis system for a hydro-electric Francis Turbine, aimed at utilising AI for diagnosing Turbine health in terms of vibration.
