· Overall control of Quality function and Design activity.

· Plan, monitor, co-ordinate with lab, pot room, logistics and marketing to achieve desired quality of pig ingots, sows, wire rod and billets, ensuring minimum customer return & highest customer satisfaction. The technical function is important as maximum products are intended to be sold in overseas market.

· Fully Operational Quality laboratory is set up in PTB - Silvassa.

· Actively managing quality Control responsibility for Control Plan, Process Capability index (Cp, Cpk), GR&R, Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), Advance Product Quality Plan (APQP) & Quality tools. · Responsible for development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2008, standards. · Planning and conducting phase audits (start audit, work product audit, configuration management & closure audit) & provide assistance in closing these interim audit findings. · Promoting awareness regarding customer requirements throughout the organization. · Reporting to the Management the status of the system through periodic Management Review Meeting. · Training execution on QMS to the employees of the organization. · Managing cross-functional activities consisting of in-process QA, incoming QA of the raw materials with proficiency in coordinating with the vendors & enhancing the process operations; thereby achieving the required quality level through vendor evaluation & vendor rating. · Interacting with the customer and identifying root cause analysis of the customer complaints and implementation of corrective and preventive action (CA & PA).

· Managed preparation of control plan for the various orders placed by customers. · Actively imparted training to operators for existing as well as new technologies as and when adopted by the company. · Handled quality checking of various products like conveyor cord, bright bar and verified the same for the dispatch. · Provided the different information required by the management i.e. to look after MIS. · Completed analysis of machine problems and quality failure to find out the actual root cause & eliminated such cases. · Planned for the reduction of downtime of different machines on the shop floor. · Planned implementation and sound quality production of different sizes of conveyor cord.
