I am an Electrical Engineer who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of energy projects—from design and simulation to site execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project coordination.I currently work as an Assistant Project Manager with Helios Energy SRL on the Focșani solar power plant project in Romania. I monitor construction progress, manpower, material deliveries, installed quantities, pending activities, and site constraints. I coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, prepare progress reports, support inspections and documentation, and communicate delays, risks, and operational issues to the Project Manager. I am improving site reporting through Excel automation, dashboards, and digital tools.Previously, as a Junior Solar Design Engineer at Pleasant Solar, I designed more than 15 grid-connected PV systems from 5 kW to 100 kW. My work covered system sizing, equipment selection, energy-yield simulation, shading studies, string configuration, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, protection selection, and technical documentation.Using PVsyst, HelioScope, PV*SOL, and AutoCAD Electrical, I prepared single-line diagrams, cable schedules, string layouts, protection drawings, and energy reports. One of my main projects was a 5 MW utility-scale grid-connected solar PV plant, including PV simulation, DC and AC design, MV collection, transformer sizing, cable calculations, and protection-relay coordination.I also worked as a Site Electrical Engineer at a 150 MW captive power plant, dealing with HV cable systems, BESS, VFDs, power electronics, SCADA, and PLC monitoring. I diagnosed faults, supported maintenance and commissioning, and contributed to reducing equipment downtime by around 15%. I participated in more than 200 HV switching operations under LOTO procedures with a zero-incident safety record.My earlier experience at WAPDA and FESCO gave me exposure to hydropower, SCADA monitoring, 132 kV infrastructure, renewable-energy grid interconnection, and MV protection.I also develop data-driven energy tools, including an LSTM forecasting model and an EV-grid optimisation model with solar integration.I am currently completing an M.Sc. in Integrated Electrical Systems Engineering for Electric Vehicles at POLITEHNICA Bucharest, focusing on EV-grid integration, renewable-energy optimisation, BESS, and PMSM control.Based in Bucharest, I am open to opportunities across Europe in solar design, site engineering, project coordination, electrical design, BESS, SCADA/PLC, HV systems, and renewable-energy R&D.
