In July 2024, Ziauddin Group of Hospitals launched an exciting new initiative with the establishment of ZTech, an IT services company focused on developing and delivering robust healthcare-based systems. ZTech is committed to not only supporting Ziauddin Group of Hospitals but also providing innovative solutions to healthcare institutions worldwide, helping them leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency. As the Group CIO and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ZTech, I lead the overall strategy and execution, driving the company’s growth and positioning in the global healthcare IT landscape.

As the Group CIO at Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals and University, I lead the IT department with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation. During my tenure, I have successfully delivered several key initiatives that have significantly enhanced our IT infrastructure and operations: ✅ Deployment of Hyper Cloud Infrastructure (HCI) and the complete redevelopment of IT infrastructure to enhance scalability and performance. ✅ Comprehensive tech refresh initiatives, including hardware and device upgrades, resulting in improved system reliability and performance. ✅ Development and implementation of mission-critical systems such as the Hospital Management and Information System (HMIS), Corporate Portal, and Service Desk System to streamline operations. ✅ Launch of RoboCalls to automate patient feedback and appointment confirmations, alongside the introduction of WhatsApp-based notifications for a more cost-effective and efficient communication strategy. ✅ Deployment of advanced Call Center software, supporting the state-of-the-art Call Center at Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals, enabling better patient engagement and service delivery. Additionally, I have spearheaded numerous smaller initiatives aimed at improving overall operational efficiency and providing cost-effective solutions across the organization.
