* Incharge, Operation (Water production), permit to work system (PTW), includes issuance of MPTW, SWC, Isolation certificates, Excavation permits etc. * Contractors/sub-contractors work method review/correction and coordination with safety and other concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of permit. * Site inspection to ensure safety requirements fulfilled by contractors and maintenance staff. * Review of drawings and project plans to ensure set target achieved within the stipulated period. * Supervision of all the equipment for their functioning and attending to all the problems encountered. * Execution of planned tasks and breakdown maintenance on all rotating and static equipment. * Involved in Commissioning activities of all new overhauled equipment. * Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, equipment lock out, tag out procedures, within the jurisdictional area. * Co-ordination with power operation for permit to work system. * Co- ordination with engineering and other departments. * Preparation/review of daily, weekly and monthly reports.

* Ensuring proper installation of BOP equipment, testing and commissioning. * Reviewing/correction of contractor and sub-contractors work method statements. * Ensuring of timely issuance of all project related permits by project team and other departments. * Co – ordination/preparation for different services interconnections at appropriate time and duration. * Preparation of particular specifications for new project/s. * Pre and post tender evaluation, recommendations, clarifications, preparation of presentation for concerned department, cost evaluation, approval of project and project execution/completion and issuance of taking over certificate. * Issuance of material gate passes to contractor/ sub-contractors.
