I currently work as a Process Engineer – Modeling & Simulation department at ONSPEC, where I apply advanced simulation tools to optimize process performance, enhance safety, and support data-driven decision-making. Prior to this role, I worked as a Process Safety Engineer, where I focused on risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID/SIL studies, Process Safety Management (PSM) and safety compliance to ensure the integrity of operations across various industrial settings. My journey began with over six internships in industries such as oil & gas, thermal insulation, food production, and safety engineering. These experiences allowed me to develop a broad, hands-on understanding of industrial processes and cultivate a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving. I’m passionate about the intersection of process optimization and safety, and I aim to continue growing as an engineer by blending technical excellence with leadership and strategic thinking. I’m actively pursuing further education and certifications to stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the British University in Egypt, where I consistently ranked among the top of my peers and served as a student representative. My academic interests included process safety, renewable energy, and process integration, particularly heat integration.
