Was heading finance, accounts and strategic management of this FMCG retail business. Financial planning, budgeting, reporting, product costing, arrangement of financing and treasury planning were key areas I looked after. Was also leding the pricing decision making and new contract quotation documentation. Worked with team for a bespoke software development and implementation to get real time reporting

Accounting and external reporting. Management of Finance Function including working capital management, coordination with tax function and implementation of changes in Income Tax and Sales Tax. Was also part of factory reporting and union matters resolutions. Implemented SAP ERP. Draw the arcitecure of SAP data capturing and reporting including designing of Chart of Account, Cost Centers and Reporting Formats.

Accounting and external reporting of the listed company "Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited". Compliance of listed companies regulations and reporting. Management of Finance Function including working capital management, coordination with tax function and implementation of changes in Income Tax and Sales Tax Was also part of factory reporting and union matters resolutions.

Accounting and financial & management reporting of off-shore projects. Achieved designing of procedures and internal control systems to control the project from Pakistan and saving of cost of relocating the whole accounting staff to UAE for two to three years. Also worked on proposals preparation including projected profit and loss account, projected cash flows, NPV analysis and the whole project charter in collaboration with engineering staff. Was also responsible Foreign Currency Reporting and Funds Management under supervision of main treasury function of Descon.

Supervision of audit assignments in different sectors and five cities of Pakistan. Preparation of IFRS complied financial statements, drafting audit reports, Financial Statements Close Process (FSCP), International audit partner reporting. Was also responsible for audit team and staff on the job training. Audit clients portfolio manged by me included listed companies, Pakistan's 2nd largest oil distribution company, service and retail sector organizations and large engineering and manufacturing companies.

Joined E&Y as a trainee in Audit and Assurance Business Services (AABS). Progressed to lead different teams as Audit Senior. Worked on various assignments including statutory and non-statutory external audits, review assignments & related services in different sectors including manufacturing, services, retail, large oil marketing company and trading organizations. Worked in Tax and Corporate consultancy department of EY Lahore. Had hands on experience of correspondence and assesment proceedings completion with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities for different local and multinational companies. Also performed tax compliance audits. Was seconded by Ernst & Young Pakistan to Ernst & Young Dubai and was involved in audits of clients of Dubai office.
