The Corporate Applications Engineering group builds and operates Web-based tools for internal use at Yahoo. From Web single sign-on systems to tools for coordinating product launches, we help Yahoos become more productive by providing purpose specific tools. We also are responsible for Internal Search, Yahoo specific customer care system, tools used by executive staff, legal department, and HR people. • Upgraded new and existing systems for changing usage patterns, efficient testability, monitoring, operations and maintainability. • Built new Web applications and augment existing ones on LAMP stack on Yahoo infrastructure following the development and release process followed by the team.
